Hi i'm planning on doing a Gymnogeophagus biotope so I want to know are there any plecos or cories in the Uruguay river systems that can survive temps between 24 and 18 degrees celcius? Or are there any alternatives?

I do hope the 18 - 24 degrees is for summer only?

@ corydoras, C paleatus does come from there, and is rather easy found in the LFS. I could help you to a Rhineloricatria soecies I breed, but then, collecters only, nijmegen ,the Netherlands

Hi Bas pels, yea im still milling over the idea of a realy spacific biotope for a Gymno, although I might be able to get hold of a jewel 400 or 450 or at an exstream push a 5X2X2 tank so I might be able to keep a geophagus or Satanoperca after all?

with a 300 liters tank AND a 400 liters tank, you could, I think, keep both

but in 1 tank? Not even if it wrere 400.000 liters - the one likes it hot, the other cold
