Got this group of 5 cory's today but dont know what sort they are. Been through the c numbers and close matches are corydoras puncatum and corydoras sp. C18 but neither match mine 100%. Any help appreciated.
A widespread and variable species, in some areas syntopic with Corydoras trilineatus which shares a similar colour pattern but has a short rounded snout and remains smaller in overall size. Further investigations are needed to clarify whether or not all of the so-called variations of this species are indeed one or several distinct species. Corydoras funnelli Fraser-Brunner, 1947 is a junior synonym.
Took this pic tonight....

do all the corys that have this similar coloring have a large variety of spots (the one of the leopardus looks to have larger spots and the ones in the pictures have larger, more blocked spots.)
I used to be schizophrenic, but we're OK now. At least that's what my dog is always telling me!

I think you have a typing error, bloth, I think you mean blotch, they do have a black blotch on the dorsal which may not be apparent in the last 2 pictures but can be seen in the first 2.
