Congratulations. I'm sure the parents will be OK with the fry, so if you haven't got other species in the tank, it's ok to leave them in there (and there is less risk of something going wrong with them).

 It must be some global L200 trigging... that started in Norway... :D
I know that L128 also has been bred i Sweden 2008 and 2009...

Whats the next challege????? ... they seemes to be like Ancistrus sp. right now...

Congrats!!!!!

What parameters did you have when they spawned?

Could be good to collect all the data from these several breeding to se whats has been the common issue.

Congratulations  Tell us more about tank size, setup, history etc. We would love to learn more about breeding these fish.

Make sure there is a lot of food available the next few weeks. Amongst other things they like crushed peas, deshelled artemia naupli, algae wafers and spirulina flakes.

Congratulations. More good news on this front. It is great to see all the hard work that so many have put in to breeding L128 and L200 is beginning to pay off. It will be several more years but it is something to look forward to seeing whether or not these F1 generations are any easier to breed than the wild fish.

Congratulations!!!

I come from Norway, just outside of Bergen.

Loricaridae relly got to me! These fish are fascinating and beutiful. I have, what you may call, a collection of L's. Got 18 fish devided in 7 species in my 530 litre tank. In my opinion, L-200, h.s. or b.d., is one of the most interesting and beautiful of the L's.

I am waiting for some pictures of your fry. Some seight, i believe :)

regards, top
