How should I feed 6 young adult L260's?

Post by mlb7225 »

How much should I feed 6 young adult L260's on a daily basis? I am not sure if they have a fast metabolism or not. I currently feed them fbw and fbs along with an occasional algae wafer which they do nibble on.

As much as they will eat without leaving too much left over after an hour or two.

About 15% of their body weight daily. They do have a high metabolism and especially since they should be kept at 84*F/28.5*C.
L260 grow very slowly. I don't know about others but it takes 8 to 12 months to grow mine to about 1-1/2 inches/4cm total length.
3+ years to reach breeding age or 3 to 3-1/2 inches.7.5 to 9 cm Total Length.
