this oto is 2 inches long and at least 2 years old

I can't identify either with any degree of confidence, or even say with certainty that they are different species.

The first fish has a very unusual caudal spot. All species with complete pigmentation band have the spot extend into the caudal fin, but in your fish it does not. Possibly an individual of a known species but with atypical pigmentation, or possibly a member of an undescribed species.

The second fish is a member of the Otocinclus vittatus-group, which comprises a number of very similar species, several of which show up in the trade. Best guess: vittatus, but it could also be e.g. mariae.

well the 2 r similar and the top pic has a water spot on it if it would help i can make a vid or take a clearer pic
