Injury or infection? Chocolate pleco

Post by canned-heat »

Hi guys

Im new to this site and i have to say i love it everything you needed to know. So wicked jobs guys.

Right now down to business. I just got this stunning Chocolate pleco from my local shop at the weekend and was in fine condition. Then yesterday i noticed a sore or cut or something. Im not sure what it is or how to treat it, if at all. I have attached to pics so you can have a loko as i think the pics will tell the story alot better than i could.

Any ideas anyone? i dont want to just leave him to see what happens incase it gets worse.

Cheers

Lee

Canned Heat,
- Just wanted to bump this up in hopes that someone who can help better than I, might see and reply. Also would help if you tried to give more information to help ascertain environmental conditions (tank parameters and tankmates) which might add to the stress. The 'stickie' at the head of this forum, 'Before You Post Here, Read This' by Barbie, will guide you thru essential background info, - please refer to that. Good Luck! I hope we aren't too late!
