hi all, i have a friend who has this guy and we have no idea what he is? thought u might be able to help me again. he is 8 years old and is about 6.5 inch long

It looks to have similarities to nigrita and perhaps also robbianus - a side view would be helpful.

From this picture and the size mentioned I would go nigrita as well.
