breeding L-239?
I have never purposely bred a fish before, so sorry if I am asking obvious questions. cat e-log says no reported breeding, but have seen some reports on web of people breeding them. I have a male, 5" SL - roundabout size. I am setting up a 65 gallon tank and was think I may try out my luck at breeding these fish. Any good articles? tips? How do I get a female/ get a good pair? My male had no "spikes" (odontodes?) due to stress - so I am thinking I can't really sex them at the shop. I have to get them special ordered, which means I take them home straight away. Besides being hard to acclimate (my LFS ordered 3, mine is the only one alive after trying tons of different things to get it to eat at first - it now eats any and everything). I was going to do a skunk loach tank, but think I may want to give this pl*c a try. Thanks.

Maybe Jools will have this info updated soon.Jools wrote:I've got some pictures and info to add to the site on spawning these guys, but the contributor wishes to remain anonymous (username only) - so I've not figured out a way to do that.
