panda corydoras

Post by RIPbiglad »

Just seen some pandas at my local fish store for £2.99 each. Is this a good price?
Also how big do they need to be before they will breed?

thanks

That does seem a good price but how big are they - they need to be of a certain age as well as side to breed successfully

only about 20mm in length. Think they are only young fish.

Those sound like juveniles to me. My pygmies are bigger than that. Pandas get 50 mm at adult size and probably need to be at least 35 or 40mm to breed successfully.

I'm not sure on the mm conversion. But pandas will breed at about 2", and about 1 year old. I prefer to use a spawning mop for pandas, as the males are overly aggressive during mating.
