aww man, I always miss the good shows!!

was it called "is it real, monsters from the deep"
thats the only thing on their on line site. But it doesn't mentioning anything on the amazon. Maybe it was an outside U.S. national geographic. In Australia they had totally different national geographic tv shows them from here. :?:

I think Nat Geo has at least 3 shows: Nat geo USA, Nat Geo Europe and Nat Geo Australia

For good reasons: prime time in Australia coinsides with a period hardly anyone watches TV in Europe or the USA

So it would be better to have 3, or more, independend channels, showing the good stuff on an appropriate time

I believe that the show was called "Monster Fish" and is a series. Each show they look at large fish species around the world, which often ends up being catfish. I have not checked the Nat Geo website to see if they have it online but it is a good show to watch.

We saw a bunch of the "Monster Fish" shows in bits and pieces yesterday-I think it was a marathon of the series. The Mekong Delta one was nice. It focused on preservation of the giants. Just a guy in a canoe with a soothing voice going up and down a section of the river. He didn't do anything silly, but he did find a 2 meter love(or someone found it for him).
