Can not access "My Cats"
I want to access "My Cats", but can't.
I have deleted all my cookies, also used your tool on the site to delete cookies, logged in and attempted to get to "my cats", but I am always directed to a page that states "you must be logged in to access that ...". The page at the bottom shows me as logged in and online, yet the top right of the page has "Login" instead of "Logout [teknikAL]" as it should when logged in.
What's up?

Not sure, let me look into it.
To do that can you tell me what you were trying to do specifically? I need to know what links your were clicking on etc.

Re: Can not access "My Cats"
OK, the information at the bottom is only updated every five minutes or so - so it's not a good indication of if you are logging in or not.
The message you're getting is because the site reckons you've logged out. There isn't actually a fault in the software, rather something environmental at your end that makes the forum log you out. Looking at the forum log in logs, you do appear to log out quickly after logging in quite often.
Being a local issue unfortunately makes it harder to figure out, I mean I can't replicate the issue here, so we need to find out why your system isn't holding your session information correctly.
So,
a) Can you give me what browser you're using?
b) Do you use different computers or different browsers on the one computer?
c) Does the computer have multiple logins for different people to use it?
d) Are you using the "keep me logged in" check box or not?

Same computer, no other browser.
c) Does the computer have multiple logins for different people to use it?
Yes, the standard XP log in.
d) Are you using the "keep me logged in" check box or not?
I have tried it both ways.

Re: Can not access "My Cats"
You haven't got the setting to allow "Cookies", do you? The forum requires cookies to know if you are logged in, and when you move to the My Cats section, it will sort of loose the immediate connection to the Forum session, so the cookies would need to be there.
If you do have Cookies enabled, I'm afraid you would need to check that your machine doesn't have any "nasties" on it, such as Virus or Malware that "messes" with your internet connection and/or Cookies.

Re: Can not access "My Cats"
*bump*
I had a bit more time to look at this tonight and it _must_ be something to do with your local session getting lost - as Mats says, this is most likely becuase of a cookie setting or you not allowing a cookie for this site to be saved on your computer.
