hi everyone
can anyone give me any information reguarding hypancistrus "lower rio xingus"
ive surfed the net and found nothing

Hi,
as far as I know, Hypancistrus sp. "lower Xingu" stands for at least 3 Types of Hypancistrus sp. Some of them are really beautyful and are often sold als l 173, l 236 or l 345. Last month I bought 8 as l 333 sim 236. I seperated them out of an mixed tank. Really nice fish. Problem is: Most of the white Hypancistrus are imported from Belem. And they were "sorted" and mixed in Brasil to get highter prices (upgrading them to l 173 or l 236). I hope there will be more information …
