Welcome to Planet Catfish!

Chances are the bristlenose will be as it is the most available , but pics will confirm
Lou: Every young man's fantasy is to have a three-way.
Jacob: Yeah not with another fu**!ng guy!
Lou: It's still a three-way!

I'd say Richard was spot on with his suggestion - looks like a juvenile to me.

Welcome to Planet Catfish. I'm sure the ID above is correct unless you have some very good reason for NOT being this species. Nearly all "babies" sold in the trade are A. sp(3).

I'll agree with Richard and Martin on the verdict. Looks very much like my BN, and pretty much everyone's I would suspect.

I've just noticed something. Everything like My Cats people and pictures for have been moved over to and A. sp(3) has basically nothing. :o I'm sure that will confuse lots of people, including me!

This thread just highlights the problems pointed out in this thread, particularly now that A. sp(3) is actually another new species, different from what used to sp(3) a couple of days ago.

Hi Dekker-
welcome to the forum; are you also on the SVAS forum or is that someone else?

I agree with everyone else that you've got "the bristlenose previously known as Ancistrus sp. 3" (now apparently Ancistrus cf cirrhosus)!
Megalechis thoracata, Callichthys callichthys, Brochis splendens (and progeny), Corydoras sterbai, C. weitzmani, CW044 cf. pestai, CW021 cf. axelrodi, Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps, Ancistrus cf. cirrhosus (and progeny), Panaque maccus, Panaque nigrolineatus, Synodontis eupterus
