New 55 gallon tank

I recently bought a 55 gallon tank and am getting ready to set it up for 5 synodontis eupterus cats and one ocellifer cat any suggestions on plants and additional fish to add in with them?

I know someone who keeps Mbuna with them.

eupterus and ocellifer are all too large for this tanksize, let alone 6 of them.....

these Syno's get 8" each!
best keep a much smaller species in there, like nigriventris or lucipinnis.
