I've been looking for Hemisynodontis membranaceus for years. :(
There seems to be quite a few of these around in the uk at the moment - my lfs had 2 -think one has been sold, another local shop had a whole tank full (some did had deformed mouths though - detailed in another thread). Also there are some bigger individuals in a few other shops

As much as I love them I have given up on mochokids, I always end up with hybrids. But I'd take a chance if I found H. membranaceus on any lists or shops. They would be perfect for my african setup.

That's a real shame - the world needs more mochokid enthusiasts! :thumbsup:

That said there are so many hybrids around it can be extremely frustrating, annoying, disappointing etc :ang:
