Unfortunately in Portugese. However, The little maps on page 4 tell an awfull lot: 9 new species in an area of approx 500 * 150 km

Between the area of these fishes and the South of Uruguay (where I've seen Rhinieloricaria myself) this area will fit a dozen times

So we my have to expect another one hundred other Rhineloricaria species :shock: from only this little area, and perhaps a thousand in the whole of Southern America

Can I just check I've got the correct standard format reference for this paper...

GHAZZI 2008, Nove espécies novas do gênero Rineloricaria (Siluriformes, Loricariidae) do rio Uruguai, do sul do Brasil. Iheringia, Sér. Zool?
