Synodontis lucipinnis group arriving soon!

Post by Didgeridoo »

Hey all.

I have an adult group of seven Synodontis lucipinnis hopefully arriving on Saturday. I'm pretty stoked. It's a species I've wanted to keep for a while but just never had the room. Well a friend has a group that have apparently spawned once already so should be good and ready to go.

I'll definitely post some pics when they arrive as always.

Stay tuned.

Ho-way! They're home. Great looking fish! Very active, very healthy and great size! All fish are over 2 inches. Paid $70 CAD for the seven which is dirt cheap!

Anyways, here's the pics!

The last one's kinda funny how the Honduran Red Pointe is so curious. =P

Also wanted any suggestions as to whether they're lucipinnis or petricola. There is no collection point known. I figured they were pretty long for lucipinnis and thought maybe one of the guru's on here would be able to help. =)

A group of Egyptian Mouthbrooders and a couple HRP that spawn constantly and provide good, easy conditioning food. =) The cats eat them at night when the pair are sleeping.

Yea after looking at some pics to compare them they look more like the lucipinnis. Also pet's are supposed to be less commonly kept eh?
