I've been trying to get more information on this species but to no avail. Just wondering if anyone out there can share their experiences. Like to know such as, size, compatibility, breeding habits, etc....

L271 is a Panaqolus sp. coming form the Rio Tapajos
They can grow up to 15 cm
They are wood eating Loricariidae that will accept vegetables and comercially prepared food such as Spirulina tabs
Blood worms and other "live" type food are also accpet but should not be the main diet.
They are not too much territorial, still each individual need a place to hide on its own
They yet have to be bred but are likely to be cave spawner with the male guarding the brood.
This species is similar to L02 (L74) and L169 ( LDA01) but these comes from other Rivers, respectivly from Rio Tocantins (L02), Rio do Para (L74) and Rio Negro (L169)...LDA01 is only known form its country which is Brazil, no further information regarding the river...
