L15 and BN compatibility?
I have som L15s and a bunch of BNs, that I want to put together. I'm thinking they should be ok, but I want the experts opinion. ;)

Should be OK as long as there's enough hiding space.
I kept two L15 in my large tank for some time, together with half a dozen or so bristlenoses.

Cool. Thanks for the info.
Yeah, I'm changing my 75 gallon tank over to a pleco tank. Right now, I have my L15s in a 40 and my BNs in a 29. Both need more room, I think. So, I'll give them a bunch of driftwood and some clay pots turned into caves. Hopefully, they'll spawn.

Re: L15 and BN compatibility?
It was my hope that my L15's would spawn, but it turned out that I had two males, where one dominantly kept the other away from any food... So I had one for a long time, until some mystery illness (possibly partially caused/attenuated by my lack of minerals in RO-water).

Honestly, I wasn't sure if I could get females or not. So, I ordered 6, with the hopes that I would get, at least, one female.

Yes, that makes some sense - statistically you should have decent chance when getting 6 - although I have heard that males are easier to catch because they stay in the cave whilst females tend to swim away - but that may just be hearsay.darkwolf29a wrote:Honestly, I wasn't sure if I could get females or not.
