Hi there,
I have 2 queen arabesque plecs in a planted tank. This morning I turned up the CO2 a bit and I've just noticed that they were kind of floating. They are still alive, breathing really fast. So I've turned the CO2 down and added an air stone into the tank to get the oxygen back in there.
My main worry is that they seem like they are paralysed. They're rigid and when I touch them they just kind of float away, as if they are dead but they aren't cause they're still breathing.
Is this something I should be worried about or do you think that it'll wear off when the oxygen levels are back to normal and the pH is back to what it is??

I suppose time will tell how much damage was done. Low oxygen and high co2 in the blood can do all sorts of bad things, but hopefully it's reversible.
Sounds like you're doing the right thing by pumping in 02, now you just have to wait. Maybe keep the lights off to reduce stress, too.
