Batrochoglanis raninus

Post by RayGnz »

Just picked up three of these guys a few days ago. Finally one of them is becoming active and exploring the tank. Got plenty of driftwood and river rocks for them to hide and they don't seem to be fussy eaters. Are these guys slow growers? Right now they are about 2".

Are you sure it is these

And not these

Not that I do not believe you but quite often the two get confused(at retail outlets) and usually the B.raninus are not sold this small(2")and the M.iheringi are much more common

Positive BR, although the Microglanis is pretty nice too.

Thanks, I will. The three of them have claimed a piece of driftwood next to my blochii's home. No problems as of yet. The blochii's are pretty peacefull so I hope everbody will get along.
