juvenile tigrinus
Hi guys after years of waiting iv finally got my hands on a group of young b. tigrinus iv kept B. Juruense and S. Lima both from 2" and up and had them feeding on bloodworm progressing to prawn, muscle etc. i no Juruense are very similar to Tigrinus but does anyone know of a good food to temp them into feeding other than bloodworm

I've seldom had any problems feeding earthworms (obviously use an appropriate size). They are a great food for most fish if prepared accordingly. I keep them in sphagnum moss in a small lidded tub for a couple of days before i use them so they clean themselves out.

Thanks very much for the advice i managed to get 3 of 5 to take small red worms this morning the other 2 shouldn't be far behind i hope. At least i'll get a good night sleep tonight knowing they're starting to feed
