As husky_jim and Chrysichthys suspected, this is .
Nothing wrong with common names, as not everyone is able to remember or even pronounce half of the scientific names, but I wish shops would ID their fish (its not hard these days) properly, and give the scientific name too.
Unfortunately there are many common names for different fish, and few stores or exporters bother to correctly ID the fish they sell. (L015) is commonly sold as the clown pleco, as is .so what did it mean by L15/103 when i bough it as L103 is peckoltia and L15 is peckoltia vittata "candy striped plec"

Re: Can you please identify my plec ??
He does a bit, but a number of factors indicate P. maccus:
* is a very rare import, and the Abacaxis is not a frequently exported-from area.
* P. maccus is a very common import.
* The name "clown pleco" is the usual common name for P. maccus.
* The small eyes, the narrow stripes and the broken stripes/spots on head are all good matches for P. maccus.
Convinced yet?
