Asian Bumblebee

Post by dreamcat »

I bought a Bumblebee from the lfs (well, actually 2), and it turns out to be Asian not South American, which is just a little bit scary! The good news is i'll have to get another tank :D . What size tank would be a comfortable fit, and what would be too small?

They are 3-4cms at present, at what size do they start eating neon tetras? :?

I think a 55-gallon would do nicely for these guys. You certainly need at least 30 gallons, but you can do a lot more (i.e. put more tankmates) with 55.
They will begin treating neons as snacks when they're about 8-10 cm..
