I have one, but I'm not sure if it's in the right place.

It's a hydor koralia 1.

I have two in most of my tanks. I use two large Azoo Oxygen Plus Bio-Filter # 6 in each tank. One is driven by a MaxiJet #600 power head. It fits directly on the sponge filter using the MaxiJet UGF adapter tube; the other is air driven.

I guess that depends on what you mean by the word powerhead - I have various pumps in my tanks, that depending on how you mean, may be termed powerhead, but in the strictest sense of "a pump that forces water to flow through an undergravel filter-plate", I don't.

My filtration is internal and/or external canister filters. The size and stocking of the tank determines which I use.

I use lots of them, but I am not sure what your question is.

Shane, in order to reach your goal you must become an anenome or a sponge

I have Korallias (a 1 in a 33 gal and a 2 in a 55 gal tank, plus a small one for filtering in the 55). I have them to get some water movement suitable for loaches mainly.
