What is this pleco?

Post by groovy catfish »

My pleco was sold to me as a Spotted sailfin plecostomus. Although come to think of it it may have been sold as a Marbled Sailfin pleco? (sorry bout that!) Our petshop also sells the usual G. gibbiceps as 'Sailfin pleco's' so I assume they are different species. I was wandering if anyone knew the scientific name of him (if they are in fact different species!) Thanks :P

Sorry no pic

If it's L001, then the scientific name is G. joselimaianus.
