Number 1) is likely

Number 2) is a member of the old "Pimelodella gracilis" group, but I can't seem to locate the current name in the Cat-eLog.

I would agree with OldKeeper - he is professional in the fish science [PhD on catfishes, no less], which is more than most of us others can say.

Fair enough, but before you do... they just did a limited commemorative run of Lion Lager for the holidays and I have an extra 8 pack with your name on it.

Ah, well, of course, it was a very easy ID mistake to make. Reminds me of the time I mistook a Bagrid for a Pimelodid etc etc etc. ;-)

Shane,

There is a in the Cat-eLog. But you seem to indicate that it may be a different species than exactly that.

Just pointing out that it may, or may not, be P. gracilis as identifying any of the small Pimelodella spp with a black lateral stripe to exact sp is very difficult.
