Went to my LFS today and bought some beautiful Syno`s that came in with a batch of petricola, these were seperated as they were cleary different and the best guess they were sold to me as spotted syno`s
Heres some pics i took tonight and would appreciate any help , plus one more small question Do you think they would eat snails like the multipunctatus do?
Thanks for your help

The guy that i deal with is a very reputable businessman and a dedicated hobbyist also, if he even thought that there was a chance of these being a hybrid he wouldnt have sold them full stop.
His guess was that they may have been caught with a batch of upside down Syno`s as there seems to be quite a few Syno`s that havent been fully identified yet as such if experienced hobbysist in my club are correct.
My multipunctatus enjoy small snails put into their tank and happily eat them ( these snails are very small )

Hi Craig,
True, there are still many species undescribed. But even more species are "made" in Eastern-Europe at the moment .
Hopefully you do have a genuine species.
Ok hopefully something will turn up, anyway we aussies have to pay far too much to get anything from eastern europe brought down here So am hoping they were wild caught
Cheers
