Hi!

Are Raphael good algae eaters? I give them sunken catifsh spirulina pellets and they eat some of the goldfish flakes but I'm wondering if they would be able to eat algae too?

Not really. The are more carnivores than anything else, so whilst they will eat spirulina tablets because they contain enough fishmeal to be "tasty", they will not eat algae.
