Sexing my new L66

Post by Haavard Stoere »

I bought a rather large L66 today. I took the opportunity to photograph it against the glass before I released it to the group.

Is it male or female?

If that's a female, she's definitely not gravid - which is probably not surprising if she's just been imported of course.

I bought it from a friend. It was kept without any other L66s. It was more like a bottom dwelling pet in his angelfish tank.

In a couple of weeks I will move all 7 to a permanent 200 liter breeding setup. I will use the opportunity to photograph all of them from above and from below.
