Unknown Central Brazilian catfish...
Long time no see...
A friend caught this specimen in Central Brasil... Only thing I know is that's a nice fishie.
Any ideas on the ID?

Thanks for the help, guys... The guy who caught it said its colors were identical to these of Tatia simplex, BTW.
Still don't know exactly what it is, but we have fewer options now.

the caudal fin shape is wrong for Tatia simplex- your specimen has a strongly forked caudal fin without the rounding of fin tips evident in Tatia.
