Syno help was sold to me just as Upside Down Catfish
Bought 3 of these not realising that syno's are known as upside down catfish. I looked at Synodontis nigriventris which has the common name Upside Down Catfish but the pictures look different to my fish so im assuming mine are not this breed.
Any Ideas
Hope the quality is ok.
Regards and Many Thanks In Advance

That is a really good looking Eupterus..or maybe an average Eupterus that you are keeping in fantastic condition

How are yours getting along Andy I remember your thread when you first got them and then again when you were putting them into a larger tank

Re: Syno help was sold to me just as Upside Down Catfish
Mine seem fine, thanks for asking, Colin.
I have so aqua scaped their tank that I cannot even count them anymore on a daily basis.
I can see eyes and fins moving and I know there are five still but I do not really see them unless it's sand tilling, vac'ng all sand time or it's feeding time. Even at feeding time they are pretty much swoop and run. But I love them.
My two oldest are probably 5 inches my next two are prob 4 inches and my youngest is prob 3-4 maybe. The youngest is the slenderest and a slightly diff colour. I am thinking I have 4 girls and one boy but I am not sure. The only time they swim the tank is when I am not in the room or at work so it's hard to capture their bellies against the glass for a picture. If I sneak in at night after work and use a flashlight I can see them swimming all over all water levels but soon they discover i am there and take cover. they peek at me from behind things and wiggle their whiskers.
I will try to get pics of all 5 so you can see tho. And they really like the bigger black ABS pipes best. Altho they do go into the white pvc and they are all over the driftwood.
I havent had one by the heater or intake tubes in quite awhile.

I noticed you asked about acintic lighting well that is what I use but I dont point the light directly into the tankl and mine are very active I'll try to take a pic without the flash so you can see but mine are in with other cats also.
