Hi Everyone. At Aquafest 2007 I saw some really interesting catfish. Now I want to know more...
At the auction I bought 5 sterbai cory. They are presently housed with apistos in a 20 gallon high planted tank. (Is this the catfish you would put with Apistos?)
I also want to know about pigmy catfish. size? location? habitat? tankmates?
I already have 3 types of cories and a larger 7+ inch unnamed catfish. They are in my tanks to 'fill a nich' as bottom dwellers. (cory groups in a 75 gallon heavily planted tank: 7 salt and pepper, 1 sterbai, 3 green all bought at CCA auctions.) (The larger catfish came with a secondhand tank. It's been around for 7+ years. Moved to bigger tanks as it 'stretched out' and is now in a 55 with giant danios, and zipper botta loaches. I sometimes temporarily 'park' cichlids (convicts and?)in that tank.)Any suggestions welcome.
