Hypostomus soniae

Post by C-Magnier »

Hi everybody,

I saw him this saturday, I didn't know what it was exactly but he was so beautiful...
He was on a corner of the tank, just see his body shape, and the blue eyes.
I ask for a person to make him moving. Whaooo... The size and the color fo his dorsal and caudal fin ... Red, orange, big. Ask for the price, the young girl tells me "I don't know, I have to find it..."
5 minutes later :
"It's an ancistrus, 17 euros".
Ooops... No question...2 hours later he was in his tank.
I thought thirst that it was a Cochliodon sp. and I was shearching Cochliodon species without succes...
And I saw him on aqualog. Hypostomus cf cochliodon ?
Finaly, I find him here :D
No picture of mine yet, too shy, but this is what he looks like :

I have a question :
What kind of food for him?

Thanks a lot!

A+

The "former Cochliodon" species are wood-eaters.
