hello all fish lovers i an new. lpanetcatfish and cichlids

I got 6 cichilds when i was on vacation. Did not think to get the nane. thaer color is like that of a garaff. Lake Tanganyika. to young to tell males from
females. the tank is 38g. water is PH 6.6 KH 3 GH runs
from 3 to 5 most of the year it is 5 . is this good?
i have a bottom filter and a small top fin and gravel in the tank.

I am looking for 6 cuckoo catfish
( SYNODONTIS MULTIPUNCTATUS ) TO PUT IN WITH THEM. let me know what you think.
