Welcome to the site.

Take good care of those zebra plecs. You probably know, but they are worth a lot of money nowadays.

Have you thought about breeding them?

Hi, yes I do know that they cost a fair amount of money. I decided to buy a male last year to go with my 2 females. Some people had told me not to even look on e-bay! But there was a breeder that was selling 9 and when my parents went to pick up the little zeb, they came home with 2 males (hopefully), now all I've got to do is wait for the little guys to mature!

Good luck. There should be loads of info on the site to help you.

Basically anything written about any sp. can apply to H. zebra.

They are all pretty much identical in terms of care and breeding.

Hi there, I was wondering if there's any way of putting a avatar on my profile? Or do I need to register again under another name? :? Hoping you can advise me, thanks Dawn

Click on "Profile" at the top right of the page (besides where it says "Log out [DAWN]".

At the bottom of the Profile page, you have the choice of "Upload avatar from your machine" and "Upload avatar from URL". Either use the browse button to find a suitable file on your PC, or paste in a URL to a suitable picture on another machine.

There are some criteria on the dimensions and size (in kilobytes) of the picture, so if it complains, try reducing the size of the image.

When I recently changed my avatar, I found the "upload from local computer" function not working so I uploaded off-site and linked to the avatar.

A good tip if you are having trouble making the image small enough is to save it as a .gif rather than a .jpg
