Pseudodoras sierra

A wholesaler for where i work had a catfish by the name of pseudodoras sierra, and i have not been able to find any info on this name.

I think it refers to
Oxydoras niger
.

True, it's a combination of the (invalid) Latin genus name Pseudodoras with the local species name sierra.
To locals this fish is known as Bagre sierra
