L239 again

Post by sabbath »

I recently noticed a bit of ich on mine, and I dropped the level of water to reduce the amount of salt necessary for treatment.

in order to do so, I had to turn off the powerhead and power filter I was using to produce current. The fish are now moving around and grazing more than I have seen in the short time I have had them. I noticed this once before when I turned off the water flow as well.

I was told at the store I got them from, that they needed a high flow of water to be happy. Is this the case? They seem much happier and active when it is off.
