Forked Barbel?

Post by jeremy242 »

I have 8 panda corys which i have had for a long time. One of them has a forked barbel and has had it the entire time i have had it. Is this uncommon as the other 7 don't have them?

Maybe not excactly common, but it's seen sometimes.

I have a couple of corydoras out of my 100+ specimens that have a forked barbel.
Best regards,

I have a C.paleatus male with a forked barbel. I originally thought it was the substrate. But, he was raised for the first year in a bare-bottomed tank and then moved to a planted tank. I'll try to get a photo of him.
