More Chaetostoma eggs
More Chaetostoma eggs
I found a male guarding another batch eggs today. This is the 3rd batch this year. Least its a good reason to go and buy another tank. I have already 30+ fry growing and now this batch. This time it was a different male so I will see how he does being this is his first time with taking care of the eggs. I can now say for sure I have 1 female and 2 males in the 55 gal. I will get some pictures this weekend.

So far everyone is doing great. I have only found 1 dead fry out of 50+ now that I have. I scared to see how many I really have with all the rocks in the tanks I could have even more. The main tank now has some fry from all 3 batches. The first batch I got very few. But the last 2 have big groups of fry. The new dad did a great job also with the eggs. Once they hatch there is now parent care the fry go straight to hiding.
