algae eaters?

Post by huk chun chu »

I have been having a constant problem with brown & blue green algae. In my oto tank they cleaned it up with no problem. But in my other tanks that have either zero or only a few plants the the algae is a big problem. The water is good in all tanks just that it is hard. These tanks also house mostly African Cichlids (Tangs.).So my question,is there any of the cats that trully will help control the algae? Or any other way to control it if cats can't do it?

I posted a reply to almost exactly this question in Tank Talk (or Speak Easy) about an hour ago. If you have further questions, please ask here.
