What size tank does a megalodras uranoscopus need? Also what does he need to be a happy fish? Any and all help requested? Thank you :D

Did you see the info in the Cat-eLog?


Luckily (for long term care) they are a big fish but not super active. Minimum tank size at adulthood would be something like 90" long X 30" wide X 30" tall or about 350 gallons. Ideally, you would eventually be looking at an indoor pond. In Dallas, you could probably get away with keeping it in an outdoor pond half of the year, but you would still need a large tank or pond indoors for the winter months.
