Otocinclus: schooling or is one okay?
Otocinclus: schooling or is one okay?
I'm planning to get a Dwarf Otocinclus, either O. sp. or O. arnoldi. I'd prefer to get just one. Are they okay as individuals? They don't appear to hang out together.

Despite your observation, they should really be kept in groups. You'll see that they sort of stick together most of the time. Single specimen don't last long, although there are of course exceptions to the rule.gerilyn wrote: They don't appear to hang out together.
