Hello,
A little note to let someone know that I was just getting the "constantly refreshing syndrome" with the current thread on the blue-eye pleco.

refreshing
Hi Jools,
At the time it was just that one thread.
Had the same thing happen yesterday after I had replied to a post (can't remember thread name, but was the one with Syno congicus and S. greshoffi). I logged out and went off site and came back in and it was then ok.

It's been happening to me since late last week. I checked this morning and nothing until I looked into the following thread - http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/view ... hp?t=17040.
Previously, it seemed to be only happening where there were images that went below the bottom of the viewable page.
Thanks
Martin

Me too...
Well,
I use Win XP with IE (tipical office computer) and it started happening to me in the last week or so.
I still haven't find the time to post about it and besides I was not even sure if it would be my own problem, or a forum problem.
And yes, it happens in several posts, I would say randomly, but we all know there are no such things in IT... so there must be some similarity which I still haven't figured out. I'll be more carefull from now on, and I'll post back here if I see any common feature among the constant refreshing posts.
And it does happen in the previously noted post. Good example.
Regards,
Francisco

OK, so now I've got something to go on. It might well be something to do with the script that resizes images. I am in South Africa at the moment and will be travelling home tonight. I will look into it tomorrow once I've got myself back up to speed at home in Scotland.

BTW, it would be helpful if you guys could post the URL of refreshing topics that you're having trouble with.

AHA! This URL exhibits the bug (for me in MSIE only, not firefox, opera or netscape on winXP) and interestingly, http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/view ... p?p=104961 (note the difference) DOESN'T exhibit the bug.zenyfish wrote:http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/view ... 961#104961
I continue to investigate.

I've fixed this at least from the point of view that the post I had repeatedly refreshing (it did it up to a maximum of 47 times before actually stopping BTW) by the total re-install of forum software.
I'd appreciate anyone posting ASAP if they still have this issue, but I am assuming it's fixed for now...
