Bought golden beets and tried a slice on my plecos. They love it! Doesn't color the water as normal red beets would and tastes more bitter to me, as opposed to the sweet red beets. But, they love it! Also, gave them zucchini and a carrot slice the other night. Now they are not interested in carrot. One more item on their menu. Joyce
