Best temp for bristlenose

Hi all..

I would be grateful if someone could tell me the best temp for my peppermint bn's,i have been told they like higher temp's and wondered if they would be comfortable at 27c?.

Peppermint BNs will be fine in 27c water!

We still haven't identifies pepp76's fish, but given that most Ancistrus spp. are tolerant of up to about 30'C without suffering, I'd say 27'C is OK.

I'm by no means convinced that what's sold in Australia as a Peppermint bristlenose is actually identical to what's sold in Scotland under the same name.

Hi there MatsP and Bristle nose...

I see your point MatsP,the chance's of my peppermint bn's i bought from my LFS in scotland being the same as the one's you come across in australia are probably slim,i am currently trying to get better pic's of them that will hopefully bring a positive ID.
