The good thing about being close to the source of Asian catfishes in the trade is how low the prices can be. These just cost SGD1 (USD0.64, 34 pence) at an LFS.

The one in the picture is about 40-45 mm SL.

I set up a small South Asian tank in my office, where I put in Puntius gelius, Garra flavatra and Akysis longifilis. This is about all I ever see of the Akysis.

Hi all
Just picked up fifthteen of this little critters, for around a £1 each, also from a wholesaler i must add. And your so right ,thats all i ever really see unless i feed during the nite. When all hell breaks loose.
