My first Corydoras
My first Corydoras
Hi all,
I'm considering adding Cory Cats to my tank and I had some questions.....
I've been told that they're not happy in groups smaller than 6...is this true? If so, do I have room for them in my 30 gallon tank?
Also....can I use different cory species of similar size to make up my school?
Thanks for any thoughts.

Hi,
I think corydoras do alot better in shoals of 6 or more (plus, you'll have greater chance of successfully breeding them too!). I personally tend to stick with the same corydoras species to make up the group. And yes, I think 30g tank is big enough in my opinion. However, it also depends on what kind of other fish you have in your current tank. hope this helps.
