Forum menu hidden by the site menu.

Post by cincy »

Hi,

Recently the forum menu has been almost completely hidden by the main site menu. I can just barely see the bottoms of the letters in each of the forum menu boxes. The first box of the forum menu is hidden behind the Cat-eLog box.

No recent changes in my Windows setup.

IE 6.0, 1280 x 1024

Thanks
Mike

Cincy,

Can you post a screen shot? I've just changed this for another reason and the forum links no longer have boxes - so I'm wondering what you're seeing.

Apistomaster,

There's a separate topic for the speed issue, if you could post in that it would help me stay organised.

We've been here before - the problem is being caused by the use of a Google ad blocker. By blocking adverts, you cause Planet to lose revenue, so , I'm afraid to say, I'm not going to "fix" it!

Oh dear. We don't want that.

I've enabled all the ads on PC now.

You are right. The ads were the problem. In particular this one: pagead2.googlesyndication.com

I have no objections to ads and ad revenue, just to big graphics, Flash and slow loading links that make a page load forever. As this one appears to be just text, I have removed it from the "bad list" of ad vendors/links. The menus now work just fine.
