Should I get one?

Post by seds »

I was wondering If I could get White spotted Droadids (raphiel catfis) I got 2 tanks:
I have a crayfish, tinfoil barbs, glass catfish, and a gourami in a 70 gallon tank
and
5 goldfish and 2 upside down catfish In the 30 galloner.
which tank would they be better suited to?
Would the crayfish kill them? And would I need to get more than one?
oh yeah and would I ever get to see it active or will it only move in pitch blackness...?
I have upside down catfish!! HA HA HA

That shouldn't be too difficult. Return them to where you've got them from.

I also noticed that you aquired "shark cats." If these are the same catfish that is often called "Columbian Shark Cat," or "Black-finned Shark Cat," you have run into another fish that will outgrow the size of you aquarium and also requires brackish to fully marine water in adulthood. they didn't accept them... So I just put them in their own tank... The 30 galoner... Once they are mature I will move them to the large tanks. Will they stay fairly small if I move them after they are mature? I have one that is 5 years old. I had no idea that he would grow so large in a 20 gallon tank. He hasn't grown at all since then. It'll work right?
